warninglampintheinstrumentcluster
ABS
momentarilyilluminateswhentheignitionisturned
onandtheengineisoff.Ifthelightdoesnot
illuminatemomentarilyatstartup,remainsonor
continuestoflash,theABSneedstobeserviced.

theanti-lockbrake
systemisdisabledand
normalbrakingisstill
effectiveunlessthebrakewarninglightalsoremains
illuminatedwithparkingbrakereleased.(Ifyour
brakewarninglampilluminates,haveyourvehicle
servicedimmediately).
Using ABS
•
Inanemergencyorwhenmaximumefficiency
fromtheABSisrequired,applycontinuousfull
forceonthebrake.TheABSwillbeactivated
immediately,thusallowingyoutoretainfull
steeringcontrolofyourvehicleand,providing
thereissufficientspace,willenableyoutoavoid
obstaclesandbringthevehicletoacontrolled
stop.

TheAnti-Locksystemdoesnotdecreasethetime
necessarytoapplythebrakesoralwaysreduce
