Replacing headlamp bulbs
Handleahalogenheadlampbulbcarefully
andkeepoutofchildren’sreach.Graspthe
bulbonlybyitsplasticbaseanddonottouchthe
glass.Theoilfromyourhandcouldcausethebulb
tobreakthenexttimetheheadlampsare
operated.
Ifthebulbisaccidentallytouched,itshouldbe
cleanedwithrubbingalcoholbeforebeingused.
Toremovetheheadlampbulb:
1.
MakesureheadlampswitchisinOFFposition,
thenopenthehood.Ifyouarereplacingthedriver
sideheadlamp,uncliptheelectronicmoduleonthe
rightsideofthebatteryandmoveitoutoftheway.
2.
Locatetheheadlampbulbthroughtheholeinthe
upperradiatorsupportassembly.
3.
Removethebulb
retainingringby
rotatingit
counterclockwise
(whenviewedfromthe
rear)about1/8turnto
freeitfromthebulbsocket,andslidetheringoff
theplasticbase.Keeptheringtoretainthenew
bulb.
4.
lampassemblybygentlypullingitstraightoutofthe
lampassembly.
Withoutturning,removetheoldbulbfromthe
5.
Releaseclipand
disconnectthe
electricalconnector
fromthebulb.
