andequipmentbeingcarriediswithintheweight
limitationsthathavebeenestablishedforyour
vehicleincludingbothGrossVehicleWeightand
FrontandRearGrossAxleWeightRatinglimits.
Undernocircumstanceshouldtheselimitationsbe
exceeded.Exceedinganyvehicleweightrating
limitationcouldresultinseriousdamagetothe
vehicleand/orpersonalinjury.
DRIVING THROUGH WATER
Donotdrivequicklythroughstandingwater,
especiallyifthedepthisunknown.Tractionorbrake
capabilitymaybelimitedandiftheignitionsystem
getswet,yourenginemaystall.Watermayalso
enteryourengine’sairintakeandseverelydamage
yourengine.
Ifdrivingthroughdeeporstandingwateris
unavoidable,proceedveryslowly.Neverdrivethrough
waterthatishigherthanthebottomofthehubs.
Oncethroughthewater,alwaystrythebrakes.Wet
brakesdonotstopthevehicleaseffectivelyasdry
brakes.Dryingcanbeimprovedbymovingyour
vehicleslowlywhileapplyinglightpressureonthe
brakepedal.
Drivingthroughdeepwaterwherethe
transmissionissubmergedmayallowwater
intothetransmissionandcauseinternal
transmissiondamage.
