Enginemisfireisoccurringwhichcoulddamageyourcatalyticconverter.
Youshoulddriveinamoderatefashion(avoidheavyaccelerationand
deceleration)andhaveyourvehicleservicedatthefirstavailable
opportunity.
Underenginemisfireconditions,excessiveexhausttemperatures
coulddamagethecatalyticconverter,thefuelsystem,interior
floorcoveringsorothervehiclecomponents,possiblycausingafire.
Low fuel
Illuminatesasanearlyreminderofa
lowfuelconditionindicatedonthe
fuelgauge(refertoFuelgaugein
thischapterformoreinformation).
Whenrefueling,afterthelight
comeson,theamountoffuelthatisaddedwillbelessthanthe
advertisedcapacitysincethereisfuelstillinthetank.Theignitionmust
beintheONpositionforthislamptoilluminate.Thelampwillalso
illuminateforseveralsecondsaftertheignitionisturnedtotheON
positionregardlessofthefuelleveltoensureyourbulbisworking.
Low coolant (if equipped)
Thislampwillilluminatewhenthe
LOW
enginecoolantinsidethereservoiris
COOLANT
low.Thislampwillcomeonwhen
theignitionisfirstturnedon,but
thenshouldturnoff.Ifthelamp
stayson,youshouldcheckthe
