Tire change procedure
1.
Parkonalevelsurface,activatehazardflashersandsetparkingbrake.
Whenoneofthefrontwheelsisofftheground,thetransaxle
alonewillnotpreventthevehiclefrommovingorslippingoffthe
jack,evenifthevehicleisinP(Park).
Topreventthevehiclefrommovingwhenyouchangeatire,be
suretheparkingbrakeisset,thenblock(inbothdirections)the
wheelthatisdiagonallyopposite(othersideandendofthevehicle)to
thetirebeingchanged.
Ifthevehicleslipsoffthejack,youorsomeoneelsecouldbe
seriouslyinjured.
2.
PlacegearshiftleverinP(Park),
turnengineOFF,blockthe
diagonallyoppositewheel,then
removethesparetire,jackandlug
wrench.
