snuglyacrossthehips.

Yourvehicleisequippedwithsafetybeltscontaininganadjusttongueat
therear-facingseatingpositions.
Whentheadjusttongueofthelap/shouldercombinationseatbeltis
latchedintothebuckle,thetonguewillallowthelapportiontobecome
shorter,butlocksthewebbinginplacetorestrictitfrombecominglonger.
Beforeyoureachandlatchacombinationlapandshoulderbelthavingan
adjusttongueintothebuckle,youmayhavetolengthenthelapbelt
portionofit.Tolengthenthelapbelt,pullsomewebbingoutofthe
shoulderbeltretractor.Whileholdingthewebbingbelowthetongue,grasp
thetonguesothatitisparalleltothewebbingandslidethetongue
upward.Provideenoughlengthsothatthetonguecanreachthebuckle.
