Adjusting automatic transmission fluid levels
Beforeaddinganyfluid,makesurethecorrecttypeisused.Thetypeof
fluidusedisnormallyindicatedonthedipstickandalsointhe
LubricantspecificationssectionintheCapacitiesandspecifications
chapter.
Useofanon-approvedautomatictransmissionfluidmaycause
internaltransaxlecomponentdamage.
Ifnecessary,addfluidin250mL(1/2pint)incrementsthroughthefiller
tubeuntiltheleveliscorrect.
Ifanoverfilloccurs,excessfluid
shouldberemovedbyaqualified
technician.
