Minorscratchesorpaintdamagefromroaddebrismayberepairedwith
theUltraTouchPrepandFinishingKit(F7AZ-19K507–BA),Lacquer
Touch-upPaint(ALBZ-19500–XXXXA),orExteriorAcrylicSpray
Lacquer(ALAZ-19500–XXXXA)fromtheFordCarCareChemicalsline.
Pleasenotethatthepartnumbers(shownasXXXXabove)willvarywith
yourvehicle’sspecificcoloring.Observetheapplicationinstructionson
theproducts.
Removeparticlessuchasbirddroppings,treesap,insectremains,tar
spots,roadsaltandindustrialfalloutimmediately.
Cleaning the wheels
Washwiththesamedetergentasthebodyofyourvehicle.Donotuse
acid-basedoralcohol-basedwheelcleaners,steelwool,fuelorstrong
detergents.Neveruseabrasivesthatwilldamagethefinishofspecial
wheelsurfaces.Useatarremovertoremovegreaseandtar.
Thebrushesusedinsomeautomaticcarwashesmaydamagethefinish
onyourwheels.Beforegoingtoacarwash,findoutifthebrushesare
abrasive.
Cleaning non-painted plastic exterior parts
Usevinylcleanerforroutinecleaning.Cleanwithatarremoverif
necessary.Donotcleanplasticpartswiththinners,solventsor
petroleum-basedcleaners.
Cleaning mirrors
Donotcleanyourmirrorswithadryclothorabrasivematerials.Usea
softclothandmilddetergentandwater.Becarefulwhenremovingice
fromoutsidemirrorsbecauseyoumaydamagethereflectivesurface.
