serviceor,ifyouareamember,yourroadsideassistancecenter.

Itisrecommendedthatyourvehiclebetowedwithawheelliftorflatbed

equipment.Donottowwithaslingbelt.FordMotorCompanyhasnot

approvedaslingbelttowingprocedure.

Ifyourvehicleistobetowedfromtherearusingwheelliftequipment,it

isrecommendedthatthefrontwheels(drivewheels)beplacedona

dollytopreventdamagetothetransaxle.

Ifyourvehiclemustbetowedwiththedrivewheelsontheground:

PlacethetransaxleinN(Neutral).

DONOTexceedthedistanceof80km(50miles).

DONOTexceedthespeedof56km/h(35mph).

Ifthevehicleistowedbyothermeansorincorrectly,vehicle

damagemayoccur.

FordMotorCompanyprovidesatowingmanualforallauthorizedtow

truckoperators.Haveyourtowtruckoperatorrefertothismanualfor

properhook-upandtowingproceduresforyourvehicle.
