DonotoperatethevehicleintheONmodeondryormerely
wetpavement.Doingsowillproduceexcessivenoise,increase
tirewearandmaydamagedrivelinecomponents.The4x4ON
modeisintendedforuseonlyonconsistentlyslipperyorloose
surfaces.
Ifyourvehicleisequippedwiththe4x4system,asparetireofa
differentdiameterthantheroadtiresshouldneverbeused.
Suchatirecouldresultindamagetodrivelinecomponentsandmake
thevehicledifficulttocontrol.
Shifting between 4x4 Auto and ON modes
Youcanmovethe4x4controlbetweenAUTOandONwheneverneeded.
Driving off-road with truck and utility vehicles
4x4vehiclesarespeciallyequippedfordrivingonsand,snow,mudand
roughterrainandhaveoperatingcharacteristicsthataresomewhat
differentfromconventionalvehicles,bothonandofftheroad.
Howyourvehiclediffersfromothervehicles

vehiclemaybehighertoallowittotraveloverroughterrainwithout
gettinghungupordamagingunderbodycomponents.
