alreadyoperateyourvehicle’sengine)andthenewunprogrammed
key(s)readilyaccessible.
Iftwopreviouslyprogrammedcodedkeysarenotavailable,youmust
takeyourvehicletoyourdealertohavethesparekey(s)
programmed.
Pleasereadandunderstandthe
entireprocedurebeforeyoubegin.
1.
Insertthefirstpreviously
programmedcodedkeyintothe
ignition.
2.
Turntheignitionfromthe1(LOCK)positiontothe3(RUN)position.
Keeptheignitioninthe3(RUN)positionforatleastthreeseconds,but
nomorethan10seconds.
3.
Turntheignitiontothe1(LOCK)positionandremovethefirstcoded
keyfromtheignition.
4.
Withintensecondsofturningtheignitiontothe1(LOCK)position,
insertthesecondpreviouslycodedkeyintotheignition.
5.
Keeptheignitioninthe3(RUN)positionforatleastthreeseconds,but
nomorethan10seconds.
Turntheignitionfromthe1(LOCK)positiontothe3(RUN)position.
6.
Turntheignitiontothe1(LOCK)positionandremovethesecond
previouslyprogrammedcodedkeyfromtheignition.
7.
Withintwentysecondsturningtheignitiontothe1(LOCK)position
andremovingthepreviouslyprogrammedcodedkey,insertthenew
unprogrammedkey(newkey/valetkey)intotheignition.
8.
Keeptheignitioninthe3(RUN)positionforatleastthreesecondsbut
notmorethan10seconds.
Turntheignitionfromthe1(LOCK)positiontothe3(RUN)position.
9.
Removethenewlyprogrammedcodedkeyfromtheignition.
Ifthekeyhasbeensuccessfullyprogrammeditwillstartthevehicle’s
engineandthetheftindicatorlightwillilluminateforthreesecondsand
thengoout.
