aftermarketgaragedooropeners:
RemovetheVelcropad(2)from
thestoragecompartmentdoor(3).
PlaceVelcro(5)onaftermarket
transmitter(6)oppositeof
actuatorcontrol(8).
Measurethethickness(4)ofthe
aftermarkettransmitter(6).
Removetherubberactuator(1)
fromthestoragecompartment
(7)
(1)
bypullingtherubberactuator
forwardandtwistingatthe
sametime.
Note:Thelengthoftherubber
actuator(1)iscritical.Usecare
incuttingittolength.Iftherubber
actuator(1)iscuttoomuchthe
aftermarkettransmitter(6)willnot
activatethegaragedooropener.If
therubberactuator(1)iscuttoo
long,thestoragecompartmentdoor
(3)
willnotcloseproperly.Excessiveforcetoclosethestorage
compartmentdoor(3)maycausethedoorlatchtobreak.
Perthetablebelow,cuttherubberactuator(1)totheproperlength
basedonthethickness(4)measuredinthethirdstep.
