whichisavailablefromyourdealer.Heavydirtandbrakedust
accumulationmayrequireagitationwithasponge.Rinsethoroughly
withastrongstreamofwater.

Neverapplyanycleaningchemicaltohotorwarmwheelrimsor
covers.
Someautomaticcarwashesmaycausedamagetothefinishonyour
wheelrimsorcovers.Chemical-strengthcleaners,orcleaning
chemicals,incombinationwithbrushagitationtoremovebrakedust
anddirt,couldwearawaytheclearcoatfinishovertime.

Donotusehydrofluoricacid-basedorhighcaustic-basedwheel
cleaners,steelwool,fuelsorstronghouseholddetergent.
Toremovetarandgrease,useMotorcraftBugandTarRemover
(ZC-42),availablefromyourdealer.
ENGINE
Enginesaremoreefficientwhentheyarecleanbecausegreaseanddirt
buildupkeeptheenginewarmerthannormal.Whenwashing:

Takecarewhenusingapowerwashertocleantheengine.The
high-pressurefluidcouldpenetratethesealedpartsandcause
damage.

Donotsprayahotenginewithcoldwatertoavoidcrackingthe
engineblockorotherenginecomponents.
SprayMotorcraftEngineShampooandDegreaser(ZC-20)onallparts
thatrequirecleaningandpressurerinseclean.
Coverthehighlightedareastopreventwaterdamagewhencleaning
theengine.
