Whenoneofthefrontwheelsisofftheground,thetransmission
alonewillnotpreventthevehiclefrommovingorslippingoffthe
jack,evenifthevehicleisinP(Park)(automatictransaxle)orR
(Reverse)(manualtransaxle).
Tohelppreventthevehiclefrommovingwhenyouchangeatire,
besuretheparkingbrakeisset,thenblock(inbothdirections)
thewheelthatisdiagonallyopposite(othersideandendofthe
vehicle)tothetirebeingchanged.
Ifthevehicleslipsoffthejack,youorsomeoneelsecouldbe
seriouslyinjured.
