Insertthetongueintothecorrect
buckle(thebuckleclosesttothe
directionthetongueiscoming
from).Tolengthenthebelt,turnthe
tongueatarightangletothebelt
andpullacrossyourlapuntilit
reachesthebuckle.Totightenthe
belt,pullthelooseendofthebelt
throughthetongueuntilitfits
snuglyacrossthehips.
Shortenandfastenthebeltwhen
notinuse.

2ndrowcenterseatingposition(ifequipped)
Thelapbeltwillnotadjustautomatically.Tofasten,graspthetongue,
andwithacontinuousmotion,pulloutenoughwebbingtobucklethe
tongueintothecorrectbuckle.Ifyoudidnotpulloutenoughwebbingto
reachthebuckle,allowthetonguetoretractfullybeforetryingtopullit
outagain.
Safety belt warning light  and indicator chime
Thesafetybeltwarninglightilluminatesintheinstrumentclusteranda
chimesoundstoremindtheoccupantstofastentheirsafetybelts.
