Ifyouneedtohaveyourvehicletowed,contactaprofessionaltowing
serviceor,ifyouareamemberofaroadsideassistanceprogram,your
roadsideassistanceserviceprovider.
On4x2vehicles,itisacceptabletotowthevehiclewiththefrontwheels
onthegroundandtherearwheelsoffthegroundusingawheelliftora
slingbeltwithT-hooks.
On4x4vehiclesitisrecommendedthatyourvehiclebetowedwith
flatbedequipmentwithallthewheelsofftheground.However,awheel
liftorslingbeltmaybeusedinconjunctionwithawheeldollysothatall
fourwheelsareofftheground.

OnElectronicShift-On-the-Fly(ESOF)vehicles,the4WDcontrol
switchisturnedtothe2WDpositionpriortotowing.
Onmanualtransfercasevehicles,theshiftleverisinthe2WD
positionandthewheelhubsareintheUNLOCKEDpositionpriorto
towing.
