again.

IftheoillevelisbetweentheMINandMAXmarks,theoillevelis
acceptable.DONOTADDOIL.
•
IftheoillevelisbelowtheMIN
mark,addenoughoiltoraisethe
levelwithintheMIN-MAXrange.
•
OillevelsabovetheMAXmarkmaycauseenginedamage.Someoil
mustberemovedfromtheenginebyaservicetechnician.
7.
Puttheindicatorbackinandensureitisfullyseated.
Adding engine oil
Checktheengineoil.Forinstructions,refertoCheckingtheengine
oilinthischapter.
Iftheengineoillevelisnotwithinthenormalrange,addonlycertified

engineoiloftherecommendedviscosity.Removetheengineoilfillercap
anduseafunneltopourtheengineoilintotheopening.
