Underenginemisfireconditions,excessiveexhausttemperatures
coulddamagethecatalyticconverter,thefuelsystem,interior
floorcoveringsorothervehiclecomponents,possiblycausingafire.
Checkfuelcap(ifequipped):
Illuminateswhenthefuelcapmay
notbeproperlyinstalled.Continued
drivingwiththislightonmaycause
theServiceenginesoonwarning
lighttocomeon.RefertoFuel
fillercapintheMaintenanceandSpecificationschapter.
Checkgage:Illuminateswhenany

Thefuelgaugeisatornearempty.
Brakesystemwarninglight:To
confirmthebrakesystemwarning
lightisfunctional,itwill
momentarilyilluminatewhenthe
ignitionisturnedtotheONpositionwhentheengineisnotrunning,or
inapositionbetweenONandSTART,orbyapplyingtheparkingbrake
whentheignitionisturnedtotheONposition.Ifthebrakesystem
warninglightdoesnotilluminateatthistime,seekserviceimmediately
fromyourdealership.Illuminationafterreleasingtheparkingbrake
indicateslowbrakefluidlevelandthebrakesystemshouldbeinspected
immediatelybyyourservicingdealership.
Drivingavehiclewiththebrakesystemwarninglightonis
dangerous.Asignificantdecreaseinbrakingperformancemay
occur.Itwilltakeyoulongertostopthevehicle.Havethevehicle
checkedbyyourdealerimmediately.
