inflateslowlyorgentlyandthe
riskofinjuryfromadeploying
airbagisgreatestclosetothe
trimcoveringtheairbag
module.
WARNING: Alloccupantsofthevehicle,includingthedriver,
shouldalwaysproperlyweartheirsafetybelts,evenwhenan
airbag(SRS)isprovided.
WARNING: Alwaystransportchildren12yearsoldandunder
inthebackseatandalwaysproperlyuseappropriatechild
restraintsystems.
WARNING: NationalHighwayTrafficSafetyAdministration
(NHTSA)recommendsaminimumdistanceofatleast25cm(10
inches)betweenanoccupant’schestandthedriverairbag
module.
WARNING: Thedrivershouldalwaysholdontoonlytherimof
thesteeringwheel.Neverplaceyourarmovertheairbag
moduleasadeployingairbagcanresultinseriousarm
fracturesorotherinjuries.
Stepsyoucantaketoproperlypositionyourselfawayfromtheairbag:

Moveyourseattotherearasfarasyoucanwhilestillreachingthe
pedalscomfortably.
•
Reclinetheseatslightly(oneortwodegrees)fromtheupright
position.
