intotheCDplayer.ThelabelmaypeelandcausetheCDto
becomejammed.ItisrecommendedthathomemadeCDsbe
identifiedwithpermanentfelttipmarkerratherthanadhesive
labels.BallpointpensmaydamageCDs.Pleasecontactyour
dealerforfurtherinformation.
CD TIPS - CONDENSATION PHENOMENON
Immediatelyafterturningontheheaterwhenthevehicleiscold,theCD
oropticalcomponents(prismandlens)intheCDplayer/changermay
becomecloudedwithcondensation.Whenthishappens,theCDwilleject
immediatelywhenplacedintheunit.AcloudedCDcanbecorrected
simplybywipingitwithasoftcloth.Cloudedopticalcomponentswill
clearnaturallyinaboutanhour.Waitfornormaloperationtoreturn
beforeattemptingtousetheunit.

TheCDrevolvesatahighspeedwithintheunit.Defective(crackedor
badlybent)CDsshouldneverbeused.

Donotusenon-conventionaldiscssuchasheart-shaped,octagonal
discs,etc.TheCDplayercouldbedamaged.
AnewCDmayhaveroughedgesonitsinnerandouterperimeters.If
adiscwithroughedgesisused,propersettingwillnotbepossible
andtheCDplayerwillnotplaytheCD.Removetheroughedgesin
advancebyusingaballpointpenorpencilasshownabove.Toremove
theroughedges,rubthesideofthepenorpencilagainsttheinner
andouterperimeteroftheCD.
