Driving with an automatic overdrive transaxle
Yourautomatictransaxleelectronicallycontrolstheshiftfeelbyusingan
adaptivelearningstrategy.Thisfeatureisdesignedtooptimizeshift
smoothness.NOTE:Itisnormalforyourtransaxletoshiftfirmlyduring
thefirstfewhundredkilometers(miles)ofoperationuntiltheadaptive
strategyhasbeenlearned.Theadaptivelearningstrategyismaintained
bypowerfromthebattery.Whenthebatteryisdisconnectedoranew
batteryisinstalled,thetransaxlemustrelearnitsadaptivestrategy.
Optimalshiftingwillresumewithinafewhundredkilometers(miles)of
operation.
Yourautomaticoverdrivetransaxle
providesfullyautomaticoperationin
OFF/ON
eitherD(Overdrive)orwiththe
O/DOFFswitchdepressed.Driving
withthegearshiftleverinD
(Overdrive)givesthebestfueleconomyfornormaldrivingconditions.
