NOTE:Theparkingbrakeisnotrecommendedtostopamovingvehicle.
However,ifthenormalbrakesfail,theparkingbrakecanbeusedtostop
yourvehicleinanemergency.Sincetheparkingbrakeappliesonlythe
rearbrakes,thevehicle’sstoppingdistancewillincreasegreatlyandthe
handlingofyourvehiclewillbeadverselyaffected.
Toreleasetheparkingbrake,the
brakehandlemayneedtobepulled
upslightlytoreleasepressure
beforepushinginthebutton.
Pushthebuttonontheendof
theparkingbrakehandleand
pushthehandledownasfaras
possible.Drivingwiththe
parkingbrakeappliedwillcause
thebrakestowearoutquickly
andreducefueleconomy.
STEERING
Topreventdamagetothepowersteeringsystem:

Neverholdthesteeringwheelatitsfurthestturningpoints(untilit
stops)formorethanafewsecondswhentheengineisrunning.
Donotoperatethevehiclewithalowpowersteeringpumpfluidlevel
(belowtheMINmarkonthereservoir).
Ifthepowersteeringsystembreaksdown(oriftheengineisturned
off),youcansteerthevehiclemanually,butittakesmoreeffort.
Ifthesteeringwandersorpulls,checkfor:

Ahighcrownintheroadorhighcrosswindsmayalsomakethesteering
