REPORTING SAFETY DEFECTS
Ifyoubelievethatyourvehiclehasadefectwhichcouldcauseacrashor
couldcauseinjuryordeath,youshouldimmediatelyinformtheNational
HighwayTrafficSafetyAdministration(NHTSA)inadditiontonotifying
yourMazdaimporter/distributor.
IfNHTSAreceivessimilarcomplaints,itmayopenaninvestigation,and
ifitfindsthatasafetydefectexistsinagroupofvehicles,itmayordera
recallandremedycampaign.HoweverNHTSAcannotbecomeinvolvedin
individualproblemsbetweenyou,yourdealer,oryourMazda
importer/distributor).
