Fuel quality
NOTE:Ifyouareexperiencingstarting,roughidleorhesitation
driveabilityproblemsduringacoldstart,tryadifferentbrandof
“Regular”unleadedgasoline.“Premium”unleadedgasolineisnot
recommended(particularlyintheUnitedStates)becauseitmaycause
theseproblemstobecomemorepronounced.Iftheproblemspersist,see
yourauthorizedMazdadealer.
Itshouldnotbenecessarytoaddanyaftermarketproductstoyourfuel
tankifyoucontinuetousehighqualityfueloftherecommendedoctane
rating.
Aftermarketproductscouldcausedamagetothefuelsystem.
Repairstocorrecttheeffectsofusinganaftermarketproductin
yourfuelmaynotbecoveredbyyourwarranty.
Manyoftheworld’sautomakersapprovedtheWorld-wideFuelCharter
thatrecommendsgasolinespecificationstoprovideimproved
performanceandemissioncontrolsystemprotectionforyourvehicle.
GasolinesthatmeettheWorld-wideFuelChartershouldbeusedwhen
available.Askyourfuelsupplieraboutgasolinesthatmeetthe
World-wideFuelCharter.
Cleaner air
Mazdaendorsestheuseofreformulated“cleaner-burning”gasolinesto
improveairquality.
Running out of fuel
Avoidrunningoutoffuelbecausethissituationmayhaveanadverse
affectonpowertraincomponents.
