Highway hazards
Nomatterhowcarefullyyoudrivethere’salwaysthepossibilitythatyou
mayeventuallyhaveaflattireonthehighway.Driveslowlytothe
closestsafeareaoutoftraffic.Thismayfurtherdamagetheflattire,but
yoursafetyismoreimportant.
Ifyoufeelasuddenvibrationorridedisturbancewhiledrivingoryou
suspectyourtireorvehiclehasbeendamaged,immediatelyreduceyour
speed.Drivewithcautionuntilyoucansafelypullofftheroad.Stopand
inspectthetirefordamage.Ifthetireisunder-inflatedordamaged,
deflateit,removewheelandreplaceitwithyoursparetireandwheel.If
youcannotdetectacause,havethevehicletowedtothenearestrepair
facilityortiredealertohavethevehicleinspected.

NOTE:Snowtiresmustbethesamesizeandgradeasthetiresyou
currentlyhaveonyourvehicle.
Thetiresonyourvehiclehaveall-weathertreadstoprovidetractionin
rainandsnow.However,insomeclimates,usingsnowtiresandtraction
devicesmaybenecessary.Ifyouneedtousesnowtiresandchains,itis
recommendedthatsteelwheelsareusedofthesamesizeand
specificationasthoseoriginallyinstalled.
