Fuses
Before replacing fuses:
Fuse boxes in engine compartment
Opening
̈
Engage the electronic parking brake
̈   Take the crank from the Operator’s
Manual pouch.
̈
Open the hood (୴ page 553).
(୴ page 412).
̈
Make sure the automatic transmission
Box on the driver’s side
̈   Loosen screws 1 with crank.
is set to park position P (୴ page 417).
̈
̈
Remove jumper 3.
Remove cover 2.
The gear position indicator in the multi-
function display should be on park
position P.
Closing
̈
̈
̈
Turn off all electrical consumers.
̈
̈
̈
Attach cover 2.
Turn off the engine (୴ page 415).
Attach jumper 3.
Switch off the vehicle’s internal electri-
cal functions (୴ page 705).
Tighten screws 1 with crank.
!
The cover must fit properly, as otherwise
moisture or dirt may impair the functionality of
the fuses.
