Detachthefirstcablebypulling
upthecapandslidingitawayfrom
thewheel.Thenturntheendofthe
cablesoitfitsthroughtheslotand
removethecableandbracket.

Detachthesecondcableby
unscrewingthebolt.
Tire change procedure
WARNING:Whenoneofthefrontwheelsisofftheground,the
transmissionalonewillnotpreventthevehiclefrommovingor
slippingoffthejack,evenifthevehicleisinP(Park).
WARNING:Tohelppreventthevehiclefrommovingwhenyou
changeatire,besuretheparkingbrakeisset,thenblock(in
bothdirections)thewheelthatisdiagonallyopposite(othersideand
endofthevehicle)tothetirebeingchanged.
WARNING:Ifthevehicleslipsoffthejack,youorsomeoneelse
couldbeseriouslyinjured.
WARNING:Donotattempttochangeatireonthesideofthe
vehicleclosetomovingtraffic.Pullfarenoughofftheroadto
avoidthedangerofbeinghitwhenoperatingthejackorchangingthe
wheel.
Note:Passengersshouldnotremaininthevehiclewhenthevehicleis
beingjacked.
