The autolam p system on the left sid e of the instru ment
panel
To set the au tolam p:
1.
Make sure the head lam p knob is in the OFF
position. If the knob for the head lam ps is
ON , you cancel the au tolam p.

Turn the ignition key to ON or start you r
vehicle.
Find the au tolam p thu mbw heel to the left of
the steering wheel on the instru ment panel.
Turn the au tolam p thu mbw heel past the stop
to the beginning of the MAX position. The
ind icator light will com e on.

The au tolam p au tom atically tu rns the lam ps
on and off for you .
Do not put any articles on top of the photocell
that is located in the top right corner of the
instru ment panel. This photocell controls the
au tolam p. If you cover it, the photocell reacts as
if it is nighttim e, and the lam ps tu rn on.
To tu rn the au tolam p off, move the thu mbw heel
back to OFF.
