engine coolant or an equ ivalent recycled engine
coolant that is certified by the supplier to meet
Ford specification ESE-M97B44-A.

Use Ford Prem ium Cooling System Fluid
E2FZ-19549-AA (in Canad a, Motorcraft CXC-8-B)
or an equ ivalent engine coolant that meets Ford
Specification ESE-M97B44-A.
Have you r dealer check the engine cooling
system for leaks if:

once a month, or

you have to ad d more than a qu art (liter) at a
tim e
Engin e Coolan t Drain and Flush
Prop er proced ures for a com plete coolant drain
and flush of the cooling system can be found in
the Car Service Manual . Follow ing these
recom mend ed proced ures will ensu re that the
specified coolant level and a 50/ 50 or
ap prop riate mixtu re of coolant and water is
maintained .
