1996 Ford Taurus Owners Manual

To  rem ove  the  brakelam  p:
1.
2.
Remove   the  interior   trim  panel.
Remove   the  fou r attachm  ent  nu ts  that  hold
the  brakelam  p  in  place.

Lift  the  whole   assem bly  off of  the  vehicle
from  the   outsid e.
Disconnect   the  bu lbs.
To  install  the  brakelam  p:
1.
2.
Install  the   bu lbs.
Position   the  brakelam  p  into  the  tailgate
holes.
3.

From  the   insid e of  the  vehicle,   install  and
tighten   the  fou r  nu ts that   hold  the
brakelam  p  in  place.
Install  the   interior   trim  panel.
