Locking the doors wit h the keyless ent ry
syst em
Along with unlocking you r doors, you can use
the keyless entry system to lock the doors. You
can also use the Au tolock featu re to
au tom atically lock the doors after you get in the
vehicle.
To lock all of the doors, press 7/ 8 and 9/ 0 at
the sam e tim e. It is not necessary to first enter
the keyp ad cod e. This will arm you r factory
installed anti-theft system , if so equ ipped.

If you r vehicle is equ ipped with the optional
factory installed anti-theft system , the keyless
entry system will arm it when you use the 7/ 8
and 9/ 0 keys to lock the doors, and will disarm
or reset a triggered anti-theft alarm when you
enter in the five digit cod e to unlock the driver’s
door.
NOTE: Doors and the liftgate must be fully
closed for the anti-th eft system to arm .
