Cen ter Occupant Rear Safety Belt (Sed an)
The safety belt in the center rear seating position
has a detachable shou lder belt.
To attach the shou lder belt to the lap belt, pull
the shou lder belt ou t from the retractor in the
seatback and insert the lap belt connecting pin
into the wide end of the key-slot on the
shou lder belt as show n in Figu re 1. Pu ll the
connecting pin into the narrow end of the
key-slot until you hear a snap and feel it latch.
See Figu re 2. Make sure the shou lder belt is
secu rely fastened to the lap belt by pulling up
on the shou lder belt.
