To set the child proof lock on each rear door,
op en the rear door.
Find the lever insid e the label. Move the lever
up to the locked sym bol.
To release the child proof lock, open the rear
door from the ou tsid e. Move the lever dow n to
the unlocked sym bol.
Pow er Door Locks (If equipped)
If you r vehicle has pow er door locks, the
controls to lock the doors are on the trim panel
of the front door. When you close the doors
after you set the door locks, the doors rem ain
locked . If the pow er mechanism ever fails, the
manu al door lock will overrid e the pow er
controls.
The power lock s on the driver’s door
If the key is left in the driver’s or passenger’s
ou tsid e lock cylind er for a period of tim e, the
pow er door locks may cycle. This is a protective
featu re and will not harm the locks. When the
key is rem oved , the locks will function norm ally.
