If the washer does not work, check the washer
fluid level and fill it if it is low . See the Servicing
Your Taurus chap ter. If there is enou gh fluid,
consu lt you r nearest Ford or Lincoln-Mercu ry
dealer.
Do not try to clean the wind shield when the
washer fluid container is empty or activate the
washers at any tim e for more than 15 second s
continu ously. This could dam age the washer
pump system .
RWARN ING
In freezin g weath er, the wash er solu tion
may freeze on the windshield and obscure
you r vision . Alw ays warm up the
windshield with the defroster before you
use the wash er flu id. If you cannot see
throu gh the windshield clearly, it can
increase the risk of bein g involved in a
collision .
