Gauges
Fuel Gauge
The fuel gau ge displays ap proxim ately how
much fuel is in the fuel tank only when the
ignition is in the ON position.
For prop er fuel gau ge ind ication after ad ding
fuel, the ignition shou ld be in the OFF position
while the vehicle is being refu eled .
The fuel gau ge ind icator may vary slightly when
the vehicle is in motion.
With the ignition in the OFF position, the fuel
gau ge ind icator may drift from the ignition ON
ind ication.
Engin e Coolan t Tem peratu re Gauge
This gau ge ind icates the tem peratu re of the
engine coolant, not the coolant level. If the
coolant is not at its prop er level or mixtu re, the
gau ge ind ication will not be accu rate.
The pointer moves from the C (cold ) mark into
the Norm al band as the engine coolant warm s
up. It is accep table for the pointer to fluctu ate
within the Norm al band und er norm al driving
