Remove spark plugs with a spark plug

wrench.(TypeAorB)

3. Check each new spark plug gap with a

feelergauge.Correctitasrequired.

Installsparkplugs.

CAUTION

Wheninstallingaplug,turnitintwoor

three turns by hand and then tighten

with a spark plug wrench. Be careful

nottoovertightenit.

Besuretousethecorrectwrenchto

remove the plugs. An incorrect

wrenchcancausedamage.

Tighteningtorque:

SID0102

to22ft-lb(20to29N⅐m)

Reconnect the spark plug cables to their

originalpositions.
