could result in serious personal
injuryintheeventofanaccident.
Tounfastenthebelt,pressthebuttononthe
buckle.
If,becauseofbodysizeordrivingposition,it
isnotpossibletoproperlyfitthelap-shoulder
belt and fasten it, an extender is available
which is compatible with the installed seat
belts. The extender adds approximately 8 in
(200
mm)oflengthandmaybeusedforeither
SEATBELTMAINTENANCE
thedriverorfrontpassengerseatingposition.
SeeyourINFINITIdealerforassistanceifthe
extenderisrequired.

To clean the seat belt webbings,
apply a mild soap solution or any non-
caustic solution recommended for gently
cleaningclothupholsteryorcarpets.Then
brushit,wipewithaclothandallowitto
dry in the shade. Do not allow the seat
belts to retract until they are completely
dry.

made by the same company
which made the original equip-
ment belts, should be used with
theINFINITIbelts.

Ifdirtbuildsupintheshoulderbeltguide
of the seat belt anchors, the belts may
retract slowly. Wipe the shoulder belt
guidewithaclean,drycloth.

Was looking for a way to disable the passenger airbag so I could have my dog beside me while traveling but it does not seem possible.
