Route the seat belt tongue through the

childrestraintandinsertitintothebuckle

untilyouhearandfeelthelatchengage.

Besuretofollowthechildrestraintmanu-

facturer’sinstructionsforbeltrouting.

3. Pull on the shoulder belt until all of the

beltisfullyextended.Atthistime,thebelt

retractorisintheautomaticlockingmode

(child restraint mode). It reverts back to

emergencylockingmodewhenthebeltis

fullyretracted.

4. Allowthebelttoretract.Pulluponthebelt

toremoveanyslackinthebelt.
