If any problem occurs during engine or
vehicleoperation,thewarninglightwilleither
remainilluminatedorblink.
IftheO/DOFFindicatorlightblinksforapproxi-
mately8secondsaftercomingonfor2seconds,
haveyourINFINITIdealercheckthetransmission
andrepairitifnecessary.
This light comes on when the automatic
transmissionoiltemperatureistoohigh.Ifthe
light comes on while driving, reduce the
vehiclespeedassoonassafelypossibleuntil
thelightturnsoff.
CAUTION
Theautomatictransmissionisequippedwith
an electronic Fail-Safe mode. This system
allows the vehicle to be driven even in the
event of damage to the electrical circuits. If
this occurs, the gears automatically engage
andlockinto3rdgear.
If the warning light comes on or
blinks during operation, have your
vehicle checked by an authorized
INFINITIdealerassoonaspossible.

Thislightcomesonduringdrivingwhenthe
overdrive switch is pressed to prevent over-
driveoperation.
Fourwheeldrivewarn-
inglight
Thelightflasheswhentheturnsignalswitch
leverorhazardswitchisturnedon.
TheO/DOFFindicatorlightcomesonfortwo
secondseachtimetheignitionkeyisturned
ON. This shows the light is functioning
properly.
Thefourwheeldrivewarninglightcomeson
whenthekeyswitchisturnedtoON.Itturns
offsoonaftertheengineisstarted.
