Disengagingcruisecontrol
Cruisecontrolwillautomaticallydisengageif
thebrakepedalsispressed,orwhenthegear
selectorleverismovedintoposition’N’ .Press
the’RES’switchoncemomentarilytocutoff
cruisecontrol;thisallowsthevehicletoslow
downgradually.
Usethebrakepedaltoslowthevehicleuntil
therequiredspeedhasbeenreached,then
pressthe’SET+’switchtoestablishanew
cruisingspeed(rememberthatcruisecontrol
willnotoperateatspeedsbelow45km/h.
Pressthe’RES’switchoncemomentarilyto
cutoffcruisecontrol;ifthebrakepedalisnot
used,thevehiclewillslowdowngradually.
Whenthedesiredspeedhasbeenreached,
pressthe’SET+’switchtoestablishthenew
cruisingspeed.
Ifrequired,pressthe’RES’switchagainto
re-engagecruisecontrolatthepreviously-set
speed.
NOTE:Thespeedheldinthecruisecontrol
memorywillbecancelledwheneitherthe
cruisecontrolmasterswitchorthestarter
switchareturnedoff.
Toincreasethesetcruisingspeed
Pressandholdthe’SET+’switch;thevehicle
willaccelerateautomatically.Releasethe
switchassoonasthedesiredspeedhasbeen
reached.
NOTE:Cruisecontrolwilldisengage
automaticallyifyourroadspeedfallstoless
than75percentofthesetspeed(thiscould
occurwhentowinguphill).
Alternatively,thesetspeedcanbeincreased
incrementallyby’tapping’the’SET+’switch.
Foreachfivetapsthespeedwillincreaseby8
km/h.
