Settherearscreenwiperoperating,thenopen
theuppertailgatewhenthewiperisina
near-verticalposition.Thewiperwillstopas
soonasthetailgateisopened.
Turnthestarterswitchtothe’0’positionto
preventthewiperfromoperating,lowerthe
uppertailgateandthenreplacethewiper
blade(asdescribedforfrontwiperblade
overleaf).Thewiperwillcontinueoperatingas
soonasthestarterswitchisreturnedto
position’I’.
FRONTWIPERBLADEREPLACEMENT
Torenewawiperblade,liftthewiperarm
awayfromthewindscreen,presstheretaining
clip(1)andslidethewiperbladedownthe
armtoremove.
Locatethenewbladeassemblyonthearm
andpushintoengagementuntilthebladeis
retainedbytheclip.
Alwaysfitreplacementwiperbladesthatare
identicaltotheoriginalspecification.
