fluid,sealsandflexiblehosesshouldbe
renewed.Allworkingsurfacesofthecaliper
cylindersshouldbeexaminedandthe
componentsrenewedwherenecessary.
Underarduousoperatingconditions,these
intervalsmustbereduced.Pleaseconsult
yourLandRoverDealerforadvice.
ONLYcheckthefluidlevelwhentheengineis
switchedoffandthesystemiscoldand
ensurethatthesteeringwheelisnotturned
afterstoppingtheengine.

Powersteeringfluidishighlytoxic-keep
containerssealedandoutofthereachof
children.Ifconsumptionofpowersteering
fluidissuspected,seekmedicalattention
immediately.
Wipethefillercaptopreventdirtfrom
enteringthereservoir.
Removethefillercapand,usingalint-free
cloth,wipethedipstickclean.Refitthefiller
capfullyandremoveitagaintocheckthefluid
level.Addfluidtothereservoiruntilthelevel
isbetweentheuppermarkandthebottomof
thedipstick(see’Generaldata’for

contactwithskinoreyes,rinseimmediately
withplentyofwater.
