indicatorwiththehandleofascrewdriverto
disperseanyairbubbles.Ifthecolouris
unchanged,thebatterymustbereplaced.

Intheeyes-flushwithcleanwater
immediatelyforatleast15minutes.

Duringnormaloperationbatteriesemit
explosivehydrogengas-ensuresparks
andnakedlightsarekeptawayfromthe

Foryoursafetyremoveallmetalwrist
bandsandjewellerybeforeworkingin
theenginecompartmentandNEVER
allowthebatteryterminalsorvehicle
leadstomakecontactwithtoolsormetal
partsofthevehicle.
Batterymaintenance
Thebatteryisdesignedtobemaintenance
free,sotopping-upisunnecessary.Onthetop
ofthebatterythereisabatterycondition
indicator(arrowedinillustration).Examinethe
indicatorperiodicallytocheckthebattery’s
condition.Whentheindicatorshows:

GREEN-thebatteryisinagoodstateof
charge.
•
DARK(turningtoblack)-thebattery
needscharging.
