Thecomponentsthatmakeuptheairbag
SRSaresensitivetoelectricalorphysical
interference,eitherofwhichcouldeasily
damagethesystemandcauseinadvertent
operationoramalfunctionofanyairbag
module.
Ifthevehicleistobescrapped:uninflated
airbagsarepotentiallyverydangerousand
mustbesafelydeployedinacontrolled
environmentbyqualifiedpersonnelBEFOREa
vehicleisscrapped.
Foryoursafetyitisrecommendedthat
youseektheassistanceofaLandRover
dealertocarryoutanyofthefollowing:

Removalorrepairofanywiringor
componentinthevicinityofanyof
theSRScomponents(yellowwiring
harness),including:thesteering
wheel,steeringcolumn,frontseats,
instrumentandfasciapanels.

Installationofelectronicequipment
suchasamobiletelephone,
two-wayradioorin-car
entertainmentsystem.
