needleintothejetorificeanduseittoposition
thejetsothatthesprayisdirectedtowards
thehorizontalcentrelineofthewindscreen.
Headlightwash/wipeiscontrolledbyatimer
unit,andoperatesautomaticallyonevery
secondwashofthefrontscreenwashsystem
whentheheadlightsareswitchedon.
Ifthejetsbecomeobstructed,aneedleor
strandofwirecanbeusedtoclearthe
blockage.
NOTE:Ifthewipersystemregistersalow
screenwashfluidleveltheheadlight
wash/wipewillnotoperateatall.
Lowscreenwashfluid
Whenthescreenwashlevelislow,the
messagecentredisplays’LOWSCREEN
WASH’.Themessageappearswheneverthe
frontorrearwash/wipesystemsareusedand
isalsoactivatedwheneverthestarterswitchis
turnedto,orfrom,position’II’.Toresetthe
systemthereservoirmustbefilledwhenthe
starterswitchisturnedoff(see’Windscreen
washertop-up’).
Rearscreenwash/wipe
Pressandholdtheupperbuttontooperate
therearscreenwash/wipe.Thewasherwill
continueoperatingforaslongasthebuttonis
pressed.Afterreleasingthebutton,thewiper
willcomplete3fullwipesbeforeeither
parkingorcontinuingwithanyotherselected
function.
Amomentarypressontheupperbuttonwill
initiateaprogrammedwash/wipe.Thewasher
willoperatebrieflyandthenstop
automatically,thewiperthencompleting3full
wipesbeforeeitherparkingorcontinuingwith
anotherfunction.Movingthelevertoany
otherrearwipepositionduringthe
programmedwash/wipewillcancelthe
remainderoftheprogramme.
Therearwiperwilloperateautomatically
wheneverreversegearisselected,provided
thefrontscreenwipersareoperatingineither
intermittent,orcontinuousmode.
