TheairbagSRS(supplementaryrestraintsystem)incorporatesfrontandsideairbagsforboththe
driverandfrontseatpassenger.
Providedthefrontseatoccupantsarecorrectlyseatedwithseatbeltsproperlyworn,theairbags
provideadditionalprotectiontothechestandfacialareasintheeventofthevehiclereceivinga
severefrontalimpact,andtothesideofthebodyfacingtheimpact,ifaseveresidecollision
occurs.
Thefrontairbagsarelocatedinthecentrepadofthesteeringwheelandinthefasciapanelabove
theglovebox.Sideairbagsarepositionedinthebackrestpaddingontheoutwardsideofboth
frontseats(seeillustration).
