Outside Temperature
Because engine temperature can increase the displayed
temperature, temperature readings are slowly updated
whenvehiclespeedisbelow20mph(30km/h).

ELECTRICAL POWER OUTLETS
Your vehicle may be equipped with two power outlets.
The primary power outlet is located in the forward
portion of the center console and in the lower center of
theinstrumentpanel.Accessoriespoweredthroughthis
outletareprotectedbya15ampfuse.Theoutletmaybe
converted to a cigar lighter by installing the dealer
obtainedsmoker’spackage.Theoutletisoperatedbythe
ignitionswitch,wheninthe“on/run”or“acc”positions
only.Youmayconverttheoutletfromignitiontobattery
powerbyperformingthefollowing:

Remove the fuse cover from the left end of the
instrument panel (see the paragraph on fuses in sec-
tion7ofthismanual.)
•
Remove fuse #6 (its on the upper right of the fuse
block)fromits“IGN”position.
