Windshield Wipers And Washers
If the button is pushed while in the OFF position, the
wiperswillcycletwice.
Thewipersandwashersareoperatedbyaswitchinthe
control lever. Turn the end of the handle to select the
desiredwiperspeed.

Sudden loss of visibility through the windshield
could lead to an accident. You might not see other
vehiclesorotherobstacles.Toavoidsuddenicingof
the windshield during freezing weather, warm the
windshield with the defroster before and during
windshieldwasheruse.
Speed Sensitive Intermittent Wipers System
Usetheintermittentfeatureofthissystemwhenweather
conditions make a single wiping cycle, with a variable
pausebetweencycles,desirable.
To use the washer, push the knob in when spray is
desired.Ifthebuttonispushedwhileinthedelayrange,
thewiperwilloperateforseveralsecondsaftertheknob
isreleased,andthenresumetheintermittentinterval.
For maximum delay between cycles, turn the control
knob into the upper end of the delay range. The delay
intervaldecreasesasyouturntheknobuntilitentersthe
LOcontinualspeedposition.Thedelaycanberegulated
fromamaximumofabout18secondsbetweencycles,to
acycleevery1/2second.
If the button is pushed and held while in the OFF
position, the wiper will operate for several wipes then
turnoff.
