UNDERSTANDING THE FEATURES OF YOUR VEHICLE
Whenthisfeatureisselected,theTPMsystemwillstart
theretrainingprocedure.PressingtheSTEPbuttonwhen
in this display will select “Yes” or “No”. Then press
Menubuttontoenterselection.
6. Startingattheleftfronttire,placethetrainingmagnet
over the valve stem until the horn chirps. (This takes
approximately5seconds.)
Thefollowingdescribeshowtousethisfeature:
1.
Locatethetrainingmagnetunderthesparetirecover
(shapedlikeadoughnut).
2.
Press the MENU button until RETRAIN TIRE SEN-
SORSisdisplayed.
3.
PresstheSTEPbuttontoselectYEStoretraintheTPM
sensor.

PresstheMENUbuttontoenterselection.
DisplaywillreadTRAINLEFTFRONTTIRE.
NOTE: Thereisa60secondtimerfortrainingthefirst
tireanda30secondtimerbetweentrainingtheremain-
ing tires. If either of these timers expire, the EVIC will
abortthetrainingprocedure.
