SETTING THE ANALOG CLOCK
Clock Setting Procedure
Turn the ignition switch to the ON orACC position.
Usingthepointofaballpointpenorsimilarobject,press
eitherthehour(H)orminute(M)buttonsontheradio.
ThedisplaywillshowTIME.
Tosettheanalogclockatthetopcenteroftheinstrument
panel, press and hold the plus (+) or minus (-) buttons
untilthesettingiscorrect.

When the radio is on, pressing the TIME button will
allowyoutoselectbetweendisplayingactualtimecon-
tinuouslyorinformationrelatedtothemodewhichthe
radio is in (i.e. in Radio mode, the radio frequency is
displayed.)

RADIO GENERAL INFORMATION
Whentheradioisoff,timewillnotbedisplayedunless
theTIMEbuttonispressed,andthenthetimewillonly

withtheignitionswitchineithertheonoroffpositions.
Radio Broadcast Signals
Your new radio will provide excellent reception under
mostoperatingconditions.Likeanysystem,however,car
radios have performance limitations, due to mobile op-
erationandnaturalphenomena,whichmightleadyouto
believe your sound system is malfunctioning. To help
youunderstandandsaveyouconcernaboutthese“ap-
parent” malfunctions, you must understand a point or
two about the transmission and reception of radio sig-
nals.
Youcanaskyourdealertoenablethedigitalclocktobe
displayed continuously when the radio is off and the
ignitionswitchison.
